How it works
Review the tables below to determine your eligibility and understand the commitment
Eligibility criteria
| Year standing | Be a 2nd-year or above in September of the year you apply |
| Program | BCom or BMgt—full‑time during every academic term |
| Credits | Have a minimum of 27 credits remaining |
| Residency | Be international* or domestic |
*Through co-op, International students can work full-time during the school year without losing full-time student status—a key requirement for maintaining your study permit.
Commitment
| Work-study sequence | Alternating academic terms with full-time, paid employment |
| No. of work terms | Typically 3 work terms*—each is four-months long |
| Hours per work term | Each work term is 420 total hours minimum |
| Length of placement | 4-8 months per job placement |
| Program costs | Course tuition + one-time admin and workshop fee—view fees in the Academic Calendar |
*One work term must be in either a fall or winter term.
