Registration Information

Registration Appointment
You will receive an email June 8th to let you know when your registration appointment is viewable in Workday. Your date and time may change, check Workday regularly for up-to-date registration information.
Registration changes can be made any time between your registration open date and the course withdrawal date. Learn how to view your registration appointment in Workday. You can begin creating saved schedules in Workday, where you can plan out your classes for the upcoming academic session in preparation for registration.
You must register your saved schedules for Term 1 and Term 2 separately. When you are building your Term 2 saved schedule you may get alerts that you are not eligible for some courses. This may be because you have the prerequisites on your Term 1 saved schedule. Once you register in your Term 1 courses, you will be able to register for Term 2.
Viewing the Course Schedule
Students can view the Course Schedule directly through Workday. Please see the linked tutorial for more information on how to view the course schedule.
Course Planning
Students commonly register in four to six courses per term (12 – 16 credits). Please note anything above this is considered a very heavy course load. If you are considering registering in more than 16 credits, we strongly recommend speaking with an Academic Advisor.
Please see specific course planning information by year level for your program, linked below:
How to check that you are on track with your progress?
- The Faculty of Management Academic Advisors are the best resource for students to support specific course planning, degree and concentration mapping, transfer credits, declaring a minor, and records and registration. Please visit their website for information on how to contact an advisor.
- Students are encouraged to review the course planning recommendations above in conjunction with their Academic Progress Report in Workday when planning courses for the 2026–27 Winter Session.
Bachelor of Commerce Students
