Management is about people. At UBC’s Okanagan campus, the Faculty of Management ensures that students gain not only an excellent education, but hands-on experience as well. Students have the opportunity to choose from several programs both at the undergraduate and graduate level.
The Bachelor of Management (BMgt) program at UBC’s Okanagan campus provides students with a concrete understanding of the management fundamentals necessary to succeed in any organization and thrive in the midst of rapid change.
The intensive, hands-on program transforms students through co-ops, practical learning, community engagement initiatives, networking, and competitions that develop essential managerial capabilities and team-building skills.
This 25-month part-time program has been designed to welcome students balancing workplace commitments with academic and career aspirations. The MM offers online, face-to-face, and experiential learning blended with three two-week residential sessions at UBC’s Okanagan campus in Kelowna, BC. Equipped with UBC’s globally recognized degree, MM graduates will have the capacity to lead and manage fast-changing organizations in globally connected regions.
At the UBC Okanagan campus, Interdisciplinary Graduate Studies (IGS) programs allow students to work closely with faculty across a diverse set of departments and disciplines. The IGS structure allows for inter-faculty and inter-campus arrangements to supervise students and offer courses. The course and program requirements provide structure to ensure quality in both the breadth and depth of the student’s academic experience. Students currently enroled in the IGS program have the option of continuing with their program, or transitioning to the Themed IGS program.
