Term appointments are made for specified periods to support teaching within the Faculty. Lecturer appointments are normally for a 12-month period and include teaching and/or related duties such as course coordination and lab supervision. Sessional Lecturer appointments are made for the duration of a single academic term and include the same teaching-related responsibilities.

Integrates the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) into business and organizational practices. Applies UNDRIP principles, norms, and standards to business policies and core operational activities, with a focus on respectful and mutually beneficial relationships with Indigenous peoples. Provides the historical and contemporary contexts of Indigenous business practices and strategies for ethical engagement with Indigenous communities and their lands and resources.
Indigenous knowledge and experience is required. A master’s degree or substantial relevant business experience is required. A PhD in business or management and previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level are preferred.

COMM_O 399 (3) Equity Research and Investment Management
An applied course in equity research and investment management. Students conduct sector-based fundamental analysis of publicly traded companies, develop financial models, and produce professional equity research reports with formal price targets and buy, hold, or sell recommendations. Working in analyst teams, students present and defend investment recommendations to the class and an investment committee, with selected recommendations informing portfolio decisions.
