Biography

Chuqiao Zhou is an assistant professor of organization studies and strategy at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan Campus. She received her Ph.D. in organization theory from Rotterdam School of Management and completed her Postdoctoral research at W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University. Her research interests lie at the intersection of organization theory and strategic management. Using qualitative approaches, she is interested in broadly exploring how organizations navigate challenges emerging from digital technologies and environments with tensions, as well as the role of emotions in them. Her research also focuses on addressing social inequality and social evaluations, such as organizational reputation, wrongdoing, and stakeholders’ emotional responses.
